About the Appeal

Gift an olive tree to a Palestinian family that will last for generations to come. Olives and olive trees are one of the major incomes for people of Palestine, unfortunately, since 1967 it is believed that over 800,000 olive trees have been uprooted and destroyed to leave many people without an income and many livelihoods destroyed.

For only as little as £10, you could help change this by gifting an olive tree to a family in need. Trees will be given to farming families most in need in Gaza and the West Bank.

Rasoolullah (SAW) said “If a Muslim plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird or a person or an animal eats from it, it is regarded as a charitable gift for him” (Al-Bukhari)
